What is Silvitra 120 mg?
Silvitra 120 mg is an erectile dysfunction (ED) tablet that contains two PDE5 inhibitors: sildenafil citrate 100 mg (the ingredient in Viagra) and vardenafil 20 mg (the ingredient in Levitra). The name comes from adding the two together — 120 mg in total. It is made in India by RSM Enterprises.
It is aimed at men who have tried a single ED medicine and felt it was not quite enough. It treats ED only; it contains no dapoxetine and does not delay ejaculation.
Sildenafil and Vardenafil: Why Combine Them?
Sildenafil and vardenafil work in the same way. Both block the PDE5 enzyme, which allows the blood vessels of the penis to stay relaxed during arousal so blood can flow in and an erection can form and last. Neither causes an erection without arousal.
The two differ in the details:
- Vardenafil is more potent milligram for milligram, so a 20 mg dose — the maximum approved for Levitra — is a full dose. Its absorption is less affected by a moderate meal than sildenafil’s.
- Sildenafil is the most studied ED medicine in the world, with over 25 years of use; 100 mg is its maximum approved dose.

What You Should Know About Combination PDE5 Tablets
No regulator, including the FDA, has approved taking two PDE5 inhibitors together, and the official prescribing information for both Viagra and Levitra says not to combine them with other ED treatments. Because sildenafil and vardenafil act on the same enzyme, taking both mainly adds to the same effects — including the side effects. Headache, flushing, dizziness and drops in blood pressure are more likely than with a single tablet.

Side Effects of Silvitra 120 mg
Most people who take Silvitra 120 mg have either no side effects or mild ones that fade as the medicine wears off over a few hours. The higher the dose, the more likely they are. Side effects are more likely with Silvitra than with either ingredient alone, because both add to the same effects.
Common and usually mild:
- Headache
- Facial flushing or warmth
- Blocked or runny nose
- Indigestion or heartburn
- Dizziness or light-headedness
- Back or muscle aches
- A temporary blue tinge to vision, or sensitivity to light
Get emergency medical help right away if you have:
- An erection that lasts longer than 4 hours (priapism). Left untreated it can permanently damage the penis.
- Sudden loss or dimming of vision in one or both eyes.
- Sudden hearing loss or ringing in the ears, especially with dizziness.
- Chest pain, a racing or irregular heartbeat, or fainting during or after sex. Tell the medical team you took a PDE5 inhibitor so they do not give you a nitrate.
- Signs of an allergic reaction: rash, hives, or swelling of the face, lips or throat.
Who Should Not Take Silvitra 120 mg
Do not take Silvitra 120 mg if you:
- Take any nitrate (nitroglycerin, isosorbide) or use amyl nitrite “poppers”, or take riociguat.
- Have been told your heart is not healthy enough for sex, or have had a heart attack, stroke or serious arrhythmia in the last 6 months.
- Have low blood pressure (below 90/50) or uncontrolled high blood pressure.
- Have a heart-rhythm problem called long QT syndrome, or take medicines for an irregular heartbeat such as amiodarone, sotalol, quinidine or procainamide — vardenafil can affect heart rhythm.
- Have severe liver disease or kidney failure needing dialysis.
- Have retinitis pigmentosa or have ever had NAION (sudden vision loss in one eye).
- Are a woman or under 18.
Talk to a doctor first if you take an alpha-blocker, any blood-pressure medicine, or a CYP3A4 inhibitor such as ritonavir, ketoconazole, itraconazole, clarithromycin or erythromycin; if you are over 65; or if you have Peyronie’s disease, sickle cell anemia, a bleeding disorder or a stomach ulcer.
