What is Cenforce 100 mg?
Cenforce 100 mg is a generic version of Viagra made by Centurion Laboratories in India. Each blue tablet contains 100 mg of sildenafil citrate and is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) — difficulty getting or keeping an erection firm enough for sex.

How Cenforce 100 mg Works
When you are sexually aroused, nerves in the penis release nitric oxide. That triggers a chemical called cGMP, which relaxes the smooth muscle in the blood vessels so blood rushes in and the penis becomes erect. The enzyme PDE5 breaks cGMP down to end the erection.
Sildenafil is a PDE5 inhibitor: it slows that enzyme so cGMP lasts longer and blood flow is easier to sustain. It only works alongside arousal, and it does not affect desire, fertility or the size of the penis.

Side Effects of Cenforce 100 mg

- Signs of an allergic reaction: rash, hives, or swelling of the face, lips or throat.
Who Should Not Take Cenforce 100 mg
Do not take Cenforce 100 mg if you:
- Take any nitrate medicine — nitroglycerin tablets, spray or patches, isosorbide mononitrate or dinitrate — or use amyl nitrite “poppers”. The combination can drop blood pressure to a dangerous level.
- Take riociguat (Adempas) for pulmonary hypertension.
- Have been told by a doctor that your heart is not healthy enough for sexual activity.
- Have had a heart attack, stroke or life-threatening irregular heartbeat in the last 6 months.
- Have very low blood pressure (below 90/50) or uncontrolled high blood pressure (above 170/110).
- Have ever lost vision in one eye from NAION (non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy), or have retinitis pigmentosa.
- Are allergic to sildenafil.
- Are a woman or under 18. This medicine is for adult men.
Talk to a doctor first if you:
- Take an alpha-blocker such as tamsulosin, doxazosin or terazosin for blood pressure or an enlarged prostate — the two together can cause dizziness on standing.
- Take a strong CYP3A4 inhibitor such as ritonavir, ketoconazole, itraconazole or clarithromycin, which raise sildenafil levels sharply.
- Have liver or kidney disease, or are over 65 — a lower starting dose is usually advised.
- Have a curved or scarred penis (Peyronie’s disease), or a condition that makes prolonged erections more likely, such as sickle cell anemia, multiple myeloma or leukemia.
- Have a bleeding disorder or an active stomach ulcer.
- Already take another ED medicine. Never combine two ED tablets.
Grapefruit and grapefruit juice can raise sildenafil levels, so it is best avoided around the time you take a dose. Please consult your doctor before taking this medicine.
