Product details of Rizact 5 mg
It is said that about 25% (1 in 4) of United States people have chronic headaches.
The most common is “tension-type headache”, which occurs when you are in a state of intense tension or stress, followed by “migraine”. It is said that 20% (1 in 5) of women in their 30s suffer from migraine attacks, and the total number of migraine patients is estimated to be 8.4 million.
In this way, “migraine” and “tension-type headache” are said to be the two major chronic headaches, and migraine tends to be biased toward women, but these two headaches have very different onset mechanisms.
In the case of migraine, a strong pulsating pain occurs mainly from the temple on one side to the eyes.
It is called “throbbing headache (pain)” because it causes pain as if it were in line with the pulse of the heart.
Rarely, headache attacks occur on both sides, but they tend to concentrate on one side, so they are called “migraine”. The mechanism by which seizures occur is thought to be “stimulating the surrounding nerves as the blood vessels dilate.”
On the other hand, tension-type headache is a type that occurs when blood flow is impaired due to tension or stress and muscle rigidity occurs as described above, and this is a type of dull pain that makes the entire head heavier or pain that is tightened.
Effect of Rizact 5 mg
Rizact 5 mg is used to relieve acute migraine attacks. It works by narrowing widened blood vessels in the brain and reducing pain signals.
Active Ingredient Rizact 5 mg
The active ingredient is rizatriptan. It acts on serotonin receptors (5-HT_1B / 1D) on the inner wall of blood vessels and constricts dilated blood vessels.
It acts on the trigeminal nerve and suppresses the neuropeptide (CGRP) that causes inflammation.
How to Take Rizact 5 mg
Take 1 tablet (10 mg of rizatriptan) at a time with cold or lukewarm water when migraine headache develops.
If the effect is insufficient, you can add it, but wait at least 2 hours after the first dose. However, the total daily dose is limited to 2 tablets (20 mg).
Do not take prophylactically when you do not have migraine headaches.
