Persistent high uric acid can cause severe gout attacks, often affecting the toes. Febutaz 80 mg lowers uric acid by inhibiting xanthine oxidase, helping treat and prevent hyperuricemia and gout effectively.

Active Ingredient Febutaz 80

The active ingredient Febuxostat 80mg inhibits the action of xanthine oxidase, an enzyme required for the production of uric acid. This action suppresses the amount of uric acid produced and lowers the uric acid level.

How to Take Febutaz 80

Start taking 10 mg once a day as the main ingredient, and while having the blood uric acid level measured, it is necessary to take 20 mg once a day after 2 weeks and 40 mg once a day as a maintenance dose after 6 weeks. The dose will be gradually increased accordingly.

This drug contains 10 mg of the main ingredient in one tablet. If you have a gout attack (pain) while taking this medicine, please consult your doctor without changing the amount of the medicine or stopping it at your own discretion.

If you miss a dose, take one dose as soon as you notice. However, if it is almost time for the next regular dose, skip one dose and take one dose at the next regular dose. Do not take two doses at once.
