The active ingredient in Sibelium 5mg is Flunarizine. Blood vessels are constricted by the action of calcium ions that flow into cells in the brain. This strong contraction causes migraines when blood vessels dilate.

By inhibiting the influx of calcium ions, Flunarizine can be expected to have the effect of weakening contractions and relieving migraine headaches. Flunarizine is not currently used in Japanese prescription drugs due to side effects.

We are prescribing Pfizer’s Migsis tablets using Lomerizine hydrochloride, which can be expected to have the same ingredients and effects as Flunarizine.

How to Take Sibelium 5 mg

For adults, take 1 tablet 10mg once daily before bedtime. Take with a glass of water or lukewarm water.

If you have just started taking the medicine, it may take several weeks (about 6 to 8 weeks) to realize the effect. Continue taking it before bed until you feel the effect.

It can be taken with or without food. Also, avoid overdose because you want to feel the effect quickly.

There are many causes of migraines. If you do not feel the effect even after taking it continuously, there may be other causes.
